Inspired by the warm and inviting tones of harvested crops, Wild Wonder is Dulux Colour of the Year 2023. A soft gold with subtle hints of green, the upbeat glow of Wild Wonder has been chosen to seamlessly connect our home interiors with nature.
According to the Dulux, our need for positivity and a fresh approach to interior design is encouraging the re-emergence of more vibrant colours and light tones after the emphasis on neutrals over the past 20 years.
“Nature is what inspires us and makes us feel better in our lives and in our homes,” says Heleen van Gent, a colour and design expert at Dulux, one of the UK’s leading paint brands. “That’s why, for the first time in 20 years, our entire colour palette is inspired by the rhythms of nature.”
So by bringing colour back into the home, we can expect to see a lot more of the trend-led Wild Wonder shade transforming our living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and hallways real soon.
