Rufino’s tough enough to handle everyday life, but a little care keeps it looking like the centrepiece it was made to be. Think of these as easy habits that slot into your week without effort:

• Routine wipe – the waterproof stone top only needs a quick pass with a soft, dry cloth to stay sharp and ready for whatever you’re styling on top
• Spill control – mop up marks as soon as they happen. The stone shrugs off stains, but it’s always better not to let them linger
• Avoid abrasives – skip scouring pads or harsh cleaners, they can scratch the stone and steel base
• Every so often, buff the stainless steel base with a microfibre cloth to keep fingerprints and dust at bay
