Terms of Sale & Delivery
Important: Please consider your purchase carefully. All sales are final. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check the item/s are suitable for their intended purpose.
Under certain circumstances, we may accept items to be returned or a purchase to be cancelled in exchange for a credit note, provided this is done within seven (7) days. This decision will be entirely at the manager’s discretion. If, for any reason, delivery of an item fails, a charge of £49 will be applied. Statutory Rights Are Not Affected.
Special orders are made to customer specifications so they cannot be cancelled or exchanged under any circumstances.
Any Credit Note issued will have a life of one (1) year from the issue date.
Delivery Options
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure there is adequate access to your property. If the drivers need to enter the property, please ensure the route is clear of clutter, if necessary, please have floor coverings in place, and ensure all valuables have been cleared.
- Standard Front Door Entrance (Ground Floor Only): It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure there is a fit and able person to assist our driver with your furniture. Unless there is a working lift available, delivery is restricted to the ground floor only (assembly not included).
- Premium 2-Person Delivery (Room of Choice): Delivery is to your room of choice, up to 1 flight of stairs, subject to access. Unless there is a working lift available, delivery is restricted to a maximum of 1 flight of stairs (assembly not included).
- Special Delivery: Must complete a waiver (assembly not included).
Parking & Parking Permits
If your residence is subject to parking restrictions, we kindly ask that you obtain any required parking permits in advance. This helps our delivery drivers comply with local regulations and ensures a smooth and efficient delivery.
Customers living at properties with parking restrictions must ensure the following are in place at the time of delivery:
- Valid Parking Permit (if required): Any necessary permits must be obtained in advance.
- Suitable Parking for Large Vans: Adequate and reasonable parking must be available to accommodate large delivery vehicles.
Customers acknowledge responsibility for any fines incurred as a result of inadequate parking arrangements or incorrect information provided to Furniture Outlet.
Our drivers reserve the right to refuse delivery if the parking situation or information provided does not match the on-site conditions. This is to ensure driver safety and protect the delivery process.
If a delivery fails due to the circumstances outlined above, a redelivery fee will apply, equal to the original delivery charge paid at the time of purchase.
